More information on the relocation effort at Cornerstone Bible Church...
Where we've been
- Cornerstone Bible Church was planted by Colonial Baptist Church in 2001
- We have been meeting at Corporate Landing Elementary School for worship ever since our founding
Where we are
- Corporate Landing Elementary School continues to graciously offer their space for our Sunday worship, but in the fall of 2008, the church body voted to begin looking for a new place to meet for worship
- A Relocation Committee has been established to facilitate the move
Where we want to go
As our church has grown, we've realized the need for a permanent meeting space for fellowship and worship. Unfortunately, the cost of buying property has kept that option out of reach. So, we have decided to look for a property that we can lease that would be available for our use all of the time.
What follows is a brief summary of our current needs in a new facility: 
- Location: the vicinity of southern Virginia Beach
- Building: 5000-6000 sq ft
- Sanctuary
- 6 classrooms
- 2 nurseries (infants & 2-3 yr olds)
- Optional kitchen
- Sizeable foyer
- Storage
- Parking
How you can help
We know that this project is in God's complete control. Cornerstone Bible Church depends on it's body of believers and friends that support it. Here are a few ways you can help:
- Prayer: pray that God would bring us to a location where we can continue to grow and serve Him.
- Financial support: even though we are planning to lease a facility, there could be significant up-front costs to prepare the building for our use. Not only that, but we will also need to purchase things like chairs, tables, pianos, etc. We are praying that God would provide $300,000 for our transition.
- Property scouting: our Relocation Committee is looking for a great space; let us know if you see one too!
How can you give?
At this time, the only way to contribute to this project is by mailing a check to Cornerstone. We are looking into other options that would for online giving, but at this time, those are not available.

Final Thoughts
We understand that we are in the midst of a difficult economy for many people, but we truly believe that God is directing us to look for a new meeting location. We don't know where He will take us or when we will get there. In the end, our hope is the One who is building His church to His own glory, Jesus Christ. Please partner with us in this endeavor.
